Job Description
Great opportunity for a Graduate (or equivalent) to develop a career in Market Research. We are looking for a candidate with a min 2:1 degree in either a maths-related or essay-based subject. If you have a numeric degree, we need you to also have an A Level in an essay-based subject. Alternatively, if your degree is in an essay-based subject, we are looking for an A Level in Maths, Economics, Chemistry or Statistics.
You will work as part of a team responsible for the analysis and editing of market research reports, prior to release to high profile global clients. This will include analysing data sets and editing statistical reports, validating the numerical data, writing commentary on specific aspects of client industries and publishing the results of research in an interesting and informative way, using your strong attention to detail to undertake editing of final reports. There will be proof-reading involved, as well as correcting errors, monitoring the work of consultants, publishing data, assisting with special projects and departmental administration.
The successful canddidate will have some experience of analysing complex sets of data and drawing relevant conclusions. Intermediate-Advanced level Excel is also a requirement (data sorting and manipulation, formulas, spreadsheets and pivot tables min).
