Field Service Engineer (Electro Mechanical Machinery)
The JobThis position is to join the Field Service and Operations Team. You will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of their high value capital equipment/machinery. This position will involve a large amount of travelling often at short notice. Office/Field split is probably 50/50.
You can expect to be supporting complex Electro Mechanical machinery (using a diverse collection of technologies such as; vacuum, radio frequency, plasma, electronics, electrical, PLC control, computing and Internet connectivity and mechanical systems).
While this is a hands-on technical role you will also be required to be customer facing and happy to integrate with customers on every level as project value and time to install and commission can be lengthy and costly to the end client.

This role is suitable for an Electro Mechanical Field Service Engineer who is happy to travel regularly and for various amounts of time. (Your likely background will have come from working in one or some of these sectors (Scientific Instruments, Ceramics, Medical Devices, Healthcare (complex systems), Pharmaceutical machinery, laboratory instrumentation, environmental Instrumentation, Plasma, Coatings, vacuum etc)
